Q1 How can I install Win XP on RAID HDD (IDE3 & IDE4)?
A1 1.On the driver CD, you may find a directory D:promiseFastTrak376 (D is your CDROM), please copies all files and the directory into a floppy disk A
2. Press F6 when boot up with Win XP CD, then Win XP will go to floppy A:/ looking for the Promise RAID driver and install it, you may follow the instruction to complete the driver installation.

Q1 Why the Windows System is unstable when 768MB memory is installed?
A1 There is a max. 512MB memory can be installed under Win9X and Win Me. It can be treated as OS limitation. Please refers to Microsoft reference: (http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;Q253912

Q1 Can IDE3 support two IDE hard drives for RAID function?
A1 No, You can connect only one master HDD on IDE3. It’s same for two SATA. Each SATA can have only one master HDD. FastTrak 376 supports RAID0 or RAID1 for master device only.

Q1 How can I disable onboard RAID function?
A1 Go to Bios setup -> Integrated peripheral -> Onboard device -> Promise RAID -> Disabled.

Q1 Why doesn’t my audio have sound under Windows although I have installed audio drivers?
A1 Checks the SPDIF kit and set the SPDIF dipswitch to off, off, on, off (1 2 3 4), then reboot and reinstall the Cmedia audio driver.

Q1 Why does DigiDoc System Display show FF under Windows? Does it mean my system has some errors?
A1 No. It is normal to have “FF” after booting to Windows. It means ‘boot successfully’.

Q1 How to show the CPU temperature on the Cbox 2 ?
A1 Please install DigiDoc program and run it under Windows, the Cbox 2 then will show CPU temperature.

Q1 How do I connect CN24 to Cbox2 Front Panel Audio connector?
A1 First remove the two jumper caps at pin 5-6 and 9-10, then plug the front audio cable into CN24.
